Our saver menu saviours are here for a slice of pre-payday paradise 🙏

Objective:
Create a series of fun, engaging visuals that present our Saver Menu as small moments of joy — like a mini holiday during a tough month.
The Solution:
With the thought of holidays in mind I used the inspiration of vintage travel posters and postcards using warm, nostalgic colour palettes, old stamp marks, and 3D type treatments that jump off the page — adding energy and a touch of escapism. Each visual places a Saver Menu item in a playful, paradise setting, designed to evoke that “savour the moment” feeling.

If you don’t know our Cheese Melt Dippers, get to know 🤤

Objective:
Create 4 fun, illustrated steps showing how to savour our Cheese Melt Dippers — mimicking the look and feel of airplane safety instruction cards. The style should be clean, simple, and humorous, focusing on individual cheese bites rather than the sharebox.
The Solution:
I supplied two creative options — one with a fun, cheesy animation and another as a static visual.
To bring the idea to life, I went to McDonald’s, picked up the Cheese Melt Dippers, and shot it myself. I then recreated the items in Illustrator, which as you can see from my artboard above. From there, I brought the assets into After Effects to animate them, adding motion and character to the final output.

Admin had a dream about a Cheese Melt Dipper advent calendar and it looked something like this…
The only advent calendar you should open all at once 🤷
And repeat 🔁
Objective:
Design an illustrated McDonald’s Advent Calendar where each door reveals a Cheese Melt Dipper — the kind of calendar you’re actually encouraged to open all at once. The style should be fun, festive, and unmistakably McDonald’s, capturing the spirit of the season with a cheeky twist.
The Solution:
Building on the Cheese Melt Dipper illustration I created earlier, I transformed it into a festive treat by placing one behind each door of a custom-designed advent calendar. Each door features playful holiday touches to bring extra charm and colour to the outer layout — turning a simple concept into a fun, irresistible countdown packed with cheesy joy.
Objective:
A playful, anatomy-style visual asset to support an April Fools campaign, centered around a fake new product: the Left-Handed McNugget.
The Solution:
Developed a playful animated infographic that highlights all the “groundbreaking features” of the Left-Handed McNugget — from its ergonomic shape to enhanced dipping efficiency — all presented with mock-serious flair.

It requires skill to eat a Chicken Big Mac with minimal mess, so how do you eat yours? 🤔👇

Objective:
Create a short, 10–15 second stop motion–style animation that plays into the messy reality of eating the Chicken Big Mac, in a fun and relatable way. The animation should be designed using a top-down (bird’s eye) layout, with the burger illustrated in McDonald’s brand style. Keep the tone light-hearted and playful. Use clean, fluid transitions to move between each method, maintaining a visually engaging, stop motion–inspired rhythm.
The Solution:
To bring this idea to life, I picked up a Chicken Big Mac and staged a shoot at home, capturing a series of photos (and taking one very necessary bite). I then brought the images into Photoshop, where I illustrated the different “techniques” for tackling the burger — all while, appropriately, enjoying it myself. The final visuals balance playful concepting with a crafted, top-down layout that mirrors the tone and energy of the brief.
Overview:
As part of an internal creative challenge to celebrate the 2023 tournament, I responded to an open brief that invited everyone in the company to pitch an idea. Inspired by childhood memories of collecting hockey cards from places like Tim Hortons in Canada, I proposed a concept that merged that nostalgic excitement with the global energy of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Solution:
I designed a set of football card–style visuals that celebrated both the tournament and McDonald’s fan-favourite menu items. Each card featured a different product as the “star player,” paired with playful, sport-inspired stats and fun facts. The result was a nostalgic, collectible-style campaign that connected sport, food, and fan culture in a bold and memorable way.
